EPISODE ONE: DONE RUNNING

Louis managed to finish playing "My Darling Clementine" and Clem convinced AJ to try the piano with him, much to his delight. He was unnerved by Clementine handing AJ a gun, unconvinced when Clementine told him AJ had earned her trust with it, but choosing not to get into an argument with the new girl.

Stuff he learned about Clem in "War"
- AJ's parents were dead.
- She had to shoot Lee.
- She knew a guy who played professional baseball (Javier).
- She never had a boyfriend.
- She thought Louis would die first out of all of them - everyone, including Louis, agreed.

Clementine humoured him and played zombie pinata, allowing Louis to explain his modus operandi to her. He was grateful that she spent time with him and listened to what he had to say. He also appreciated her flirting back with him, telling him she was a ninja too.

He was swayed to help distract the walkers during the food raid by Clem charming him, calling him "prince charming", Louis admitting he "couldn't say no to a face like that", despite Violet's annoyance.

Clementine appealed to him in the confrontation with Marlon, telling him "I thought you more than that" when he initially refused to help her. After Louis hesitated a second time, Clem pointed out that Marlon had lied to him about what happened to the twins. Louis then stepped between them and talked Marlon down.

Clementine offered Marlon a chance to make things right- which Louis supported. He was utterly horrified when AJ shot him- later arguing with Clementine about what she taught AJ, and unwilling to trust the pair.

He was left feeling HELPLESS


EPISODE TWO: SUFFER THE CHILDREN

Clem made sure AJ was repentant for his actions. It didn't do much, Louis was still angry and when the kids voted to let Clem and AJ stay or leave, he voted for them to go. He went with Violet to ensure the pair had left the grounds. He was fairly bitter and angry towards the pair but kept cycling towards trying to assuage his guilt over choosing to kick them out.

Clem allowed Louis to take AJ's gun away. Louis hated holding the thing, and once Clem and AJ were at the border of the school grounds, he reluctantly gave the gun back, not wanting them to be unprotected in the wilderness.

Clem pointed out to Louis that he'd "lived behind walls" during the apocalypse and had no idea how dangerous the outside world was. This only served to make his guilt in agreeing to have them kicked out even greater.

Clem told Violet to take the shot at Lilly- resulting in Louis getting shot in the arm by Abel. When Clem returned the next day with an equally shot AJ, Louis picked him up despite his own injury and helped Ruby take care of him- still avoiding talking to Clementine.

Clem apologised for causing Louis pain when he brought new clothes for AJ - something Louis was comforted by. He thanked her for it, but the distance remained between them.

Weeks later, Louis gave Clem Marlon's bow, admitting he couldn't use it. They finally started talking again and Louis explained he knew the way he acted was wrong, and he was trying to work through his feelings over losing Marlon and how much Marlon had lied to him. Clem forgave Louis for his actions and all was good again.

In the truth or dare game:
- Clem chose to marry Ruby, "flip" James and kill Aasim.
- Clem dared Aasim to kiss Ruby - much to Louis' amusement- especially after Ruby punched Aasim for the attempt.
- Louis asked her if she had feelings for anyone in the group, and she confirmed she did, he pressed her on it but she refused to tell.

Clem chose to help him with the piano. He learned about how she lost half of her finger. This is where she carved a potato heart around their initials, they admitted their feelings for one another and kissed. As a result, he named the song he wrote after her.

Clem rescued him from the raiders, causing Violet to be taken instead. This made him guilty, something he'd question Clementine about later, feeling that no one else would have chosen to save him- himself included.

He was left feeling GUILT RIDDEN


EPISODE THREE: BROKEN TOYS

He helped Willy and Ruby bury Mitch after tying Abel up in the basement (leaving Clem to deal with the raider)- while trying to sooth the ruffled feathers between Willy and Tenn over Mitch's death.

He was shocked that Clementine told him that he was "too important to (her)" which was why she rescued him over Violet. He was thankful for her listening to him, as he expressed how guilty he felt about her being taken and how much he tried to make Violet smile because she meant a lot to him.

Clem agreed to go on a date with him - complete with candlelight and pretzels to make a toast with. He admitted to reading some magazines in the headmaster's office, echoing back some shmaltzy romance article about what a person looks for in a partner. When he asked her what she looked for in a partner she told him "a sense of humour" - which delighted him.

Clem wanted to hear about his past - which he recalled to her, admitting they were "bad people, but didn't deserve to be left in the woods by the people who were meant to make them better". Clem responded to it by telling him she could see he regretted it, which gave him some comfort. By Tenn's request, he played the piano piece for the song he composed with Minnie 'Don't Be Afraid'.

Before the raid on the boat, Louis was worried that he wouldn't be able to step up and help them out, admitting he messed up "all the time." Clem assured him to "believe in me until you can believe in yourself." Clem kissed him instead of slapping him as he requested - he wasn't convinced that helped him focus any, but he appreciated it.

The bomb Willy made was named "Mitch's Masterpiece"- which Louis helped plant on the boat with Clem and AJ - having to cover himself in walker-guts in order to get on board, something Louis was very much unhappy about.

Clem allowed AJ to intervene when Dorian tried to cut Louis' finger off to make an example of him - AJ bit Dorian's ear off and Louis kept his finger.

In trying to keep Minnie from killing Clementine, he was surprised by Dorian; accidentally shooting her in the head with the crossbow, making his first human kill. This horrified him, as he babbled apologies to the corpse.

He went with Aasim and Omar to try and get off the boat before it exploded, while Clem went to find AJ. Unseen by him, Clementine had AJ spare Lilly- which resulted in James' murder.

He was left MIA

EPISODE FOUR: TAKE US BACK

Louis came to find Clem and AJ after the explosion, saving them from some walkers by bashing their heads in with rocks. Clem hugged him telling him "you have no idea how good it is to see you". As Violet was half-blinded by the explosion, and he acted as her eyes for her while they rejoined the group.

As the remaining members of the Delta were killed (and Minnie got bitten) the others made a break for where Ruby and Willy were waiting with a cart to take them to safety. Louis hung back for assurance that Clem would be right behind him, giving her a goodbye kiss, before joining the others.

After Clem and AJ got separated (and found Tenn) Louis travelled back to find them, grateful that they were all still alive. AJ, Clem and Tenn hugged the heck out of him and it was a precious family moment. He repeated his first greeting to them "you're not dead, that's good". He admitted to Clem he thought he lost her, she replied: "only for a minute". "Longest damn minute of my life" was his reply. He moves to lead them back home, knowing of a bridge nearby.

On the trip back, he talked with Clem about killing Dorian, admitting she was his first human kill, expressing discomfort over the fact. Clementine remained silent on the matter, wanting to shelve that conversation for later. Louis admitted he was glad he had it in him to do that, and that having a home meant they had to defend it.

He admitted that he thought they were going to die on the boat, and lots of "stupid shit" went through his head - including the house his parents were building before he ruined their marriage. It would have a skylight if he got straight A's. He and clem made a game of it, talking about the imaginary house that Louis promised he would one day build for them, this house was:
- White
- Had one hundred and fourteen floors
- Had a treehouse

Clem let AJ make his own decisions. This meant that when Louis was trying to get Tenn off the bridge (who wanted to remain with his dying sister, who'd called in a buttload of walkers) AJ realised that Louis would be killed if he didn't remove Tenn out of the equation. AJ shot and killed Tenn, and Louis leapt to safety. Louis was horrified that AJ had killed Tenn - even after Clem explained he did it to save his life.

Louis was separated from them again- thanks to scaling a fence that ultimately cut him off from the pair due to the sheer amount of walkers around. Clem sent him back to the school, and off he went, during which Clementine got bitten in a bid to escape. AJ saved her, cutting off her leg. She was brought back to the school to have time to recover, much to Louis' relief. The community sat and had a meal together and all was right with the world.

Louis was asked by Clem to scout out a caravan of survivors, who were just outside of Ericson's boundaries, to see if they would be willing to trade supplies - something he agreed to. He asked AJ to come along, assuring the kid that he didn't hate him for what happened with Tenn- stating AJ "saw something I didn't"- and promised he couldn't be mad at anyone who saved his life. Clem told him to promise to be careful. He kissed her cheek to offer that assurance and went to join Violet and Ruby to start up a card game. And hey what a happy ending for a Walking Dead story what the fuck a miracle happened.

He was left feeling LOVED
