[ She purses her lips as she ducks her head, like it'll somehow successfully hide how badly she's fighting crying. ] Didn't mean it as a fucking challenge to prove me wrong, but I guess this place takes everything that way.
[That laugh, small as it is, does bring a tiny smile to Louis' face. Good. He's glad he managed to do that for her if nothing else. It was important, to be able to still laugh- it was the best defence against the horrors of the world, he found.]
